What is the most common tick-borne disease in the US?

Lyme disease is the most prevalent tick-borne illness in the United States, primarily transmitted by the blacklegged tick (Ixodes scapularis). This disease is notable for its association with a characteristic rash known as erythema migrans, which often appears as a "bull's-eye" pattern.
